Fabrication of polymer/carbon based composites as electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding materials

Abstract: 

The extensive development of electronic devices and telecommunications has cause a severe problem regarding electromagneric interference(EMI) pollution. Therefore, there is an urgent need for such material, which can mitigate EMI signal efficiently. In this work, we fabricate polymer/carbon based material with relative thin thickness(500um) and high shielding efficiency(SE)(26dB) on flexible substrates. Moreover, the roll-to-roll coating is demonstrated to confirm its application in the industrial scale.
